Today I got to play with Windows 8 on a 52" touch panel made by SHARP. Apologies for the lack of doing anything remotely useful with it, I was simply playing. The image quality is perfectly sharp yet the touch was a little off. It is fully multi-touch as you can see when I am using Bing maps to zoom in on London yet I could not demo any of the calendar or Live features like skydrive photos as there was not a Live account hooked up to the OS.
This is not going to be somthing that you will have at home. Yet if you are running a booth at a tradeshow with your metro apps displayed like this people will be lining up just to have a go.
