Windows 2012 Certification

If you have been following my twitter and LinkedIn you will know that I am at the moment throwing myself headlong into the new Windows 2012 certifications for the new MCSA. Exams 70-410 70-411 and 70-412. So for I have ⅔ of these, just the 70-412 to go.

Microsoft do provide an upgrade examination for people with a windows 2008 MCITP with the 70-417 examination. I have never been a fan of the upgrade examinations as they can test you from such a wide range of topics, not only that, as an instructor and MCT most of the training I will be presenting over the coming years are going to be the 3 individual examinations rather than the week long upgrade course. So I can kill 2 birds with one stone by going about my upgrade the long way round as I will be going through all the material that my students will in the course.

Since I am currently working my way through study for the 70-412 examination and there is so much in the way of resources out there for study I think it is about time that I start to blog and link in the resources that I have been using that are scattered around the web and include some of my own notes and thoughts on some subjects. Starting with the concept of DNSSEC. Maybe in the future I will generate pages for each of the exams to help people out with their own studying.
