Do we need Yammer?

YAMMER, this big internal professional networking monster, belongs now to Microsoft. Are you surprised? I’m not. Microsoft is slowly turning into the new Godfather, extending its viscous little arms across the whole IT world like an epidemic attack in a nursery. It might be for the best, I can’t judge. I just feel as an individual like there’s no way to escape Microsoft nowadays as nearly everything belong to them.

Why did they buy Yammer?
I assume for the integration possibilities with Outlook, Sharepoint, Skype, MS Dynamics CRM and the rest of Microsoft's invading empire. Continue Reading on celinedomenech.com
